SaaS Agreement
Terms of Service

This Agreement governs the use of the Eduledger platform. We provide the infrastructure; you maintain complete control over your data.
1. Provision of Service
Eduledger provides a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for school management. Our role is strictly limited to providing and maintaining the software infrastructure.
The "Service" includes access to modules for fees, students, staff, attendance, and academics through our official mobile application and website.
2. Data Ownership and Confidentiality
The School (the "Customer") retains full and exclusive ownership of all data, records, and files uploaded to the platform ("Customer Data").
Zero-Access Commitment: Eduledger does not access, view, or monitor internal school records such as student data, financial transactions, or academic results. We provide the container; you control the contents.
Confidentiality: We maintain strict logical isolation between school accounts to ensure that your data is never accessible to other institutions or unauthorized parties.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of the data entered into the system.
As Eduledger does not monitor your data, you are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary consents (e.g., from parents or staff) required by law to process such data within the platform.
Customer must maintain the security of all account credentials and MPINs. Eduledger is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from the Customer’s failure to secure their own account.
4. Subscriptions and Google Play Billing
- Service access is subject to active subscription tiers managed through the Google Play Store.
- Pricing is based on student and staff capacity as defined in the selected plan.
- All billing, renewals, and cancellations are governed by Google Play Store terms.
5. Limitation of Liability
Eduledger provides the Service on an "as-is" basis. Since we do not access or verify the data within your account, we are not liable for errors in school records, incorrect fee calculations based on user input, or any data loss resulting from user actions.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the subscription fees paid by the Customer in the 6 months preceding the claim.
6. Termination and Data Export
Upon termination of the subscription, Customer access to the Service will cease at the end of the billing period.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to export necessary reports and records using the provided export tools within the app prior to the end of the subscription term.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes shall be handled within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
